I put in a little extra time for this week's column. There are two versions posted in their original forms for your review: The first version--in which I specifically "name names"--and then the revised edition submitted to my editors at their request, which will end up in print on December 19, 2002.
My loyalty to the retail buying public dictates that you have access to both. No hard feelings towards my editors: I'm sure that if our roles were reversed, I probably would have made the same request for a re-write.
