An experienced television correspondent and guest, he's served as the Un-Common Sense Expert for News 8 At 9/Good Morning Texas on WFAA-Channel 8 in Dallas since January 1995, adding 11 News This Morning on Houston's KHOU and Daybreak on KVUE in Austin to his regular segments line-up in 2003.  His reputation as an entertaining and reliable guest has led to multiple appearances on some of the nation’s most popular daytime television talk shows.

Ben also shares his wealth of information and experience as a speaker. His audiences reflect the broad appeal of his expertise — from employees at Fortune 500 companies to the University of Southern California.  A graduate [BBA ‘82] of TCU in Fort Worth, he’s a board member of the consumer-action group Funeral Consumers Alliance of North Texas and a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
