Here's What Your Newest Best Friends Will Need To
Have To Kick-Off The Loan Application Process

They've gotta paper their trails and fill up those files for the inevitable visit from regulators or auditors...so don't take it personally.  Just give 'em what they need and get ready to enjoy your new home!  Here's what to expect:
 
Personal Information
        * First and Last Name
        * Social Security Number
        * Age
        * Years of Schooling (high school and any college)
        * Marital Status
        * Dependents: How many...and their ages
        * Current Residence Information: Address & Telephone (w/Area Code) Number
        * Last 2 year resident address history: If at current residence less than 2 years
        * Rent or Mortgage monthly payment: Detail property taxes, homeowner/renters insurance etc.
        * Name, Address, Phone number of landlord or mortgage servicer (and your loan number, for the last 2 years)
 
Employment History and Income
        * Current Employer Name: Their address, phone number, your position/title
        * Length of Time in your current position/type of work.
        * Last 30 days: Most recent pay stubs
        * Last 2 years: Last 2 tax year's W-2s
        * If Self-Employed: Most recent 2 year tax returns (with 1099s, K-1s or other relevant attachments, etc.)
        * Employment Gaps: Will require a written explanation
        * Records of dividends and interest received or other source of income: Documentation reflecting income will continue for the next 24 months.
        * Child Support: Documentation reflecting the amount of the income and the continuance time frame.
 
Assets
        * Banking Accounts: Checking, Savings, Money Markets
        * Last 2 months of bank statements (all pages)
        * Investment/Retirement Accounts: 401K, IRA, SEP, CDs, etc.
        * Last 2 months of Investment/Retirement statements (all pages)
        * Life Insurance policies: Face and/or Cash Value
        * Automobiles: Year and Make
 
Real Estate
        * Property Status: Pending Sale, Sold, Rental, etc.
        * Property Type: Single Family/Condo/Duplex etc.
        * Market Value, Mortgage Balance, Mortgage Payment,
        * Property Taxes, Homeowner's Insurance, Homeowner's Dues, Rental Income.Liabilities and Debts
 
Liabilities
        * Name of all creditors, account number, balance due & monthly payments.
        * If any derogatory payment history exists, a written explanation for each creditor will be required.
        * Bankruptcy: Creditors included in bankruptcy will require a copy of the recorded/final/discharged bankruptcy documents filed with the court.
        * If the bankruptcy has been discharged, a copy of the executed discharge.Paid outside of Closing Fees
