I am, too, damn it!
So now's the time to turn the tables on these
jackass "blast
fax"
companies, and the moron wannabe entrepreneurs that are stupid
enough to hire them.
September 2002 Update:
So many of you have written to me looking for a way to go
after these rogue junk fax companies and idiotic business owners
that hire them...so I think I've found a solution. E-mail
me with the words "Junk FAXES Texas" in the subject line and
I'll get you on board to sue these jerks; there will be no
out-of-pocket legal fees, so there's nothing but upside on
this one, kids!
There're two parts to this section of
the website.
This first
section is the actual collection of junk
faxing/advertising company names that's crucial to the success of
this campaign. The only we we'll be able to stop these
cockroaches is by posting their company name on our Do
Not Do Business With This Company!!! list...but
you're gonna have to provide the information on a grass-roots
level. The names that already appear in the second
section are companies that I've gotten junk
faxes from...enough to prime the pump and get the list started,
you know?
Here's what I need you to do:
1)
Send me the name of the company advertising on the junk fax.
2)
Send me the name [if available] of the company that sent the junk
fax.
3)
Include the day/date/time the junk fax was sent.
4)
Include the "call this number to be removed from our
database" number from the bottom of the junk fax.
5)
Include your:
a)
Name;
b)
E-mail address;
c)
Mailing address;
d)
Daytime and nighttime contact phone numbers;
6)
Be absolutely sure to include a handwritten or typed statement:
"Yes Ben! I'd be interested in being contacted by
an attorney that will sue these bastards for wasting my fax
supplies by when they send me these unauthorized junk faxes!"
and then be sure to sign it and send it along with the rest
of the items outlined.
7)
Most
importantly: Mail me a copy of the junk
fax. I've gotta see it before I can post the info about the
advertiser and their junk fax originating company.
Let's review: Go
through steps 1-7 above as your checklist, then mail me all of the
info I've requested to the following address:

Hate Junk Faxes!"

Let's drill these clowns and either put 'em out
of business or make 'em understand that they're wasting their
money while they're wasting our money and our supplies and
alienating us from ever doing business with them. Fair
enough?
Alrighty then...wanna see the Do
Not Do Business With This Company!!! list?
Here you go...
